Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Medicine Physician role based in Navsari. The physician will provide comprehensive primary and general medical care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and follow-up care for a broad range of conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and safe clinical practices. The physician will also participate in patient education, contribute to clinical documentation and medical records, and may support training activities for junior medical staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in General Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a wide spectrum of adult medical conditions.
- Experience or interest in Family Medicine to support continuity of care and long-term patient management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Willingness to participate in Training and mentorship for junior doctors, interns, and other clinical staff.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or specialization in General Medicine; valid medical license to practice.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with adherence to current medical guidelines and ethical standards.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues, including the ability to explain diagnoses and treatment plans clearly.
- Ability to work on-site in Navsari, manage a full-time schedule, and adapt to hospital protocols and shift requirements.
- Experience in Indian hospital settings and familiarity with regional healthcare practices and languages is an advantage.
